چکیده
Abstract. The infants admitted in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) always need a Hygienic environment and round clock observations. Infants or just born babies express their physical emotional needs through cry. Thus, detection of reasons behind infant cry plays vital role monitoring health NICU. In this paper, we have proposed novel approach for detecting Infant's signal is captured from signal, unique set features are extracted using MFCCs, LPCCs, Pitch. This used to differentiates patters signals recognize such as hunger, pain, sleep, discomfort represent different classes. Neural Network Multilayer classifier designed standard dataset can achieve accuracy 93.24% combined LPCCs Pitch

Identification of priorities for medication safety in the neonatal intensive care unit via failure mode and effect analysis
Prevention of medication errors in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) is of paramount importance due to age-specific and physiological conditions of neonates. This study aimed to evaluate the risk of medication prescription and administration via failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), which was carried out at the Research and Medical Teaching Center of Imam Reza Hospital in Mashhad, Iran....
متن کاملAcoustic Study of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: Preliminary Results
The acoustic environment of a typical neonatal intensive care unit is very rich and may contain a large number of different sounds, which reflect the activities taking place in it. There exists a medical concern about the effect of that acoustical environment on a preterm, since loud or particular sounds may be harmful for the preterm’s further neurological development. In the reported work, an...
متن کاملDetermination of Noise Level and Its Sources in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Ward
Background: In Neonatal intensive care units (NICU) different sound intensities and frequencies are produced from different sources, which may exert undesirable physiological effects on the infants. The aim of this study was to determine the noise level and its sources in the NICU and neonatal ward of Al-Zahra Hospital of Rasht, Iran. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, the inte...

Background and Objectives: Medical conditions required intensive care usually occur suddenly. Hospitalization of a family member in these wards is a stressful event for all members of family and causes new immediate needs. The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs of family members with a child hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit from the perspective of mothers and nur...
